5 INGREDIENTS BEEF STROGANOFF RECIPE


An easy to make 5 ingredient beef stroganoff recipe that keeps you from spending all day in the kitchen without sacrificing taste!

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can fat free condensed cream of mushroom soup (see notes)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder (see notes)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Prepare the egg noodles according to the package.

Summer has become my favorite season, and not just because of the weather. Somehow the food of summer just tastes better. Maybe it’s because we’re eating outside, or maybe it’s the fresh flavors, but whatever the reason, it’s just good! This Cowboy Butter is full of flavor and compliments the flavors of summer perfectly. Of course, it comes from the great Pioneer Woman, so you know it’s gotta be good!

WHAT IS IN COWBOY BUTTER?
  • Salted Butter
  • Fresh Parsley
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Black Pepper
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Lemon Juice and Zest
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup salted butter 2 sticks
  • 1/4 cup finely minced fresh parsley
  • A pinch of red pepper flakes
  • A pinch of coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • juice and zest of ½ lemon
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Allow the butter to come to room temperature before starting. Beat the butter until creamy, then add in the parsley, red pepper flakes, black pepper, minced garlic, lemon juice and zest. Mix until well combined.

We don't grill a lot of pork chops at our house. I'm really not sure why. Whenever we make them, we both really enjoy them. Pork chops were on sale at the grocery store last week, so I decided it was time to fire up the grill for some chops!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 6 thin center-cut pork chops
  • 6 Tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1-1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Place pork chops in a ziplock bag. Add brown sugar mixture. Seal bag and shake to coat pork chops. Refrigerate 2 hours to overnight

Carrot Patch Cupcakes



These cute little carrot patch cupcakes are perfect for spring! They’ve got a chocolate base & buttercream, cookie “dirt” and a strawberry “carrot” on top.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 pkg Pillsbury™ Moist Supreme® Chocolate Premium Cake Mix
  • ½ c. (1 stick) butter, room temperature
  • 1 c. sour cream*
  • ¼ c. milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 20 chocolate cream-filled sandwich cookies
For the frosting:
  • 1 pkg. (1½ c.) Pillsbury™ Creamy Supreme® Chocolate Frosting
For the carrots:
  • 24 strawberries, washed and dried
  • 2 tsp. coconut oil
  • 1 lb. bag orange candy melts
  • Fresh mint for sprouts (optional garnish)
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two standard size muffin pans with liners; set aside.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer or a large mixing bowl with a hand mixer, beat the cake mix and the butter until a thick dough forms. Add the yogurt and milk, mix until combined. Add the eggs and beat for 1 minute on medium speed.
  3. Scoop into the liners (3/4 of the way full) and bake for 18-20 minutes or until the tops spring back. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pans for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  4. Meanwhile, crush the sandwich cookies (discarding any cream in the centers) and set aside. I do this in a plastic zip bag with my rolling pin, you can also use a food processor.

Crispy Homemade Veggie Nuggets



This is the best way to turn vegetables into tiny kid-friendly nuggets. Making homemade veggie nuggets isn’t hard and beat the store-bought versions!

INGREDIENTS
  • 2-3 medium carrots
  • 1 parsnip
  • 2 small new potatoes
  • 1 golden beet
  • 1 stalk broccoli
  • 1 Serrano pepper, seeded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Frying:
  • 2 cups Italian Bread crumbs
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 quart oil for frying

HEALTHY BEEF AND BROCCOLI | EASY RECIPES



A Takeout favorite gets a healthy makeover! This dish is easily paleo or gluten free, and comes together in no time! (See notes for Paleo/Whole30 tips!)

INGREDIENTS
  • 3/4lb. lean steak (such as top sirloin, or loin tip) thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp arrowroot or cornstarch*
  • 1lb. broccolini (or broccoli), cut into 2″ sections
  • 1/2 cup low sodium gluten free tamari, coconut aminos, or soy sauce*
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper, plus more to taste
  • 1/4-1/2 cup water, as desired
  • olive oil or coconut oil, for cooking
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a medium bowl, combine thinly sliced steak with arrowroot (or cornstarch) and a pinch of pepper. Toss to coat well.
  2. Heat a drizzle of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Working in batches, add a few slices of steak (not touching each other) to the pan. Cook 60-90 seconds per side, then transfer to a clean plate or bowl. Repeat with remaining steak, adding more oil to the pan as needed.
  3. When all the steak is cooked, add broccoli to the pan (again, if the pan is a bit dry, add a bit more oil). Cook 4-5 minutes, or until crisp-tender (cook longer if you like your broccoli softer).

Easy Skillet Creamy Garlic Chiken With Broccoli



We used chicken breast for the recipe, but it can easily be made with chicken thighs or legs. If you like more sauce, add an extra can of condensed cream of chicken soup and additional 3/4 cup of water. You'll have double the sauce! Make sure to season more with salt and pepper. 

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts
  • kosher salt or sea salt , to taste
  • fresh cracked black pepper , to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 4-5 cloves garlic , minced
  • 10.5 ounces (1 can) Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup , or more if needed
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 to 3 cups chopped broccoli
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • lemon wedges , optional

DIRECTIONS
  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper and paprika. Set aside.
  2. Heat large pan on medium-high heat. Melt half the butter (2 tablespoons). Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes on each side or until the chicken is browned. Remove chicken from pan, cover and keep warm.
  3. In same pan melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, add the garlic and cook until garlic is lightly brown and fragrant. Whisk in the condensed cream of chicken soup and water. Cook until the mixture is hot and bubbly, then turn heat down to low.

Today I have a super simple and tasty baked firecracker chicken recipe for you! that is so nice and easy to make and just packed with flavour! This recipe starts with boneless and skinless chicken that is seared in a pan to lightly brown it, which adds flavour, before being roasted in the oven, all basted up in a sweet, spicy and tangy firecracker sauce! The firecracker sauce is a simple mixture of hot sauce (or chili sauce) and brown sugar (or honey) along with a touch of cider vinegar and garlic! Once the chicken is transferred to the oven to roast it is basted with the sauce a few times before being served smothered in the remaining sauce! This baked firecracker chicken is great by itself or served over rice, pasta, quinoa, etc!

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup hot/chili sauce (such as Frank’s Red Hot or Sriracha)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 pound boneless and skinless chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTION
  1. Heat the hot sauce, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and chili pepper flakes in a small sauce pan until the sugar has melted into the sauce.
  2. Heat the oil in a large oven safe skillet over medium-high heat, season the chicken with the salt and pepper, add to the pan and brown, about 3-5 minutes per side

Simple Low Carb Meals



The most important thing is that you stock your refrigerator well. Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of carb-friendly meals that you can buy premade. So you won’t need as many canned goods or boxes, because you’ll be buying fresh ingredients such as veggies, meats, some dairy and berries to start.

Cutting your veggies ahead of time helps tremendously with meal prep and snacking. Our favorite veggies to keep on hand are cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, bell peppers and different types of lettuce. Cabbage is great for making slaw or adding some additional crunch to your salads.

The most important thing for me when on a low carb diet is to have plenty of variety in my menu. If I eat the same foods week after week (which my husband doesn’t mind, actually), I get bored, and it’s easy for me to fall off the wagon. Cooking and experimenting with different recipes helps keep me interested, and it’s good for your body to get a lot of different nutrients, too.

Crispy Sheet Pan Lemon Parmesan Garlic Chicken & Veggies (Milanese)


Oven Baked Sheet Pan Crispy Lemon Parmesan Garlic Chicken & Veggies is a complete dinner with potatoes and green beans smothered in a garlic butter sauce!

INGREDIENTS
For The Chicken:
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (or juice of 1/2 a lemon)
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper , to season
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 skinless , boneless chicken breasts (or thighs)
For The Veggies:
  • 8-10 (1 pound | 500 g) baby potatoes, quartered
  • 1/2 cup butter , melted
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • salt to taste
  • 1 pound | 500 g green beans , cut into thirds
INSTRUCTION:
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C | 400°F. Lightly grease a baking tray / sheet with cooking oil spray, or a light coating of oil. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, lemon juice, 2 teaspoons garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.

Cinnamon Roll Bites


Ooey, gooey Cinnamon Roll Bites give you all the great taste of a cinnamon roll without all the work!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1- 12 oz package, refrigerator biscuits
  • 3 TBSP butter, melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
For Glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 TBSP butter, melted
  • 1 TBSP vanilla
  • 1-2 TBSP milk
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 x 8 baking pan.
  2. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mix together brown sugar and cinnamon. Add biscuit pieces and toss to coat.
